One of the country’s iconic auto racing tracks, Talladega Superspeedway, will host the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday.

The Geico 500 is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET April 25 on Fox. Several streaming services that offer the channel carry free trials for those who’d like to watch the action with a traditional television package.

As the leader in the Sprint Cup Standings, Denny Hamlin will begin Sunday’s race in pole position. Hamlin does not have a win yet this season but has claimed eight Top 5 finishes, twice as many as any other driver.

Joey Logano, Martin Truex Jr., William Bryan and Alex Bowman round out the first five in the starting lineup. View the full lineup here.

Bowman won last week’s Toyota Owners 400 after starting 24th and using a late surge to edge Hamlin. The race gave Bowman a big early-season boost and epitomized Hamlin’s 2021 so far: He led 207 laps before failing to outsprint Bowman in the closing moments.

Hamlin’s eight Top 5s through nine races are the most ever for a driver at this stage of the Cup season who has not captured a single victory. He’ll aim to rebound Sunday at the Geico 500, an event in which he placed fourth last season; Ryan Blaney won at Talladega in 2020.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Talladega Superspeedway for the GEICO 500 in Talladega, Alabama on Sunday, April 25 at 2:00 p.m. ET (4/25/2021).

The 188-lap race will air on FOX, which can be streamed live on fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV and other live TV streaming services.

The GEICO 500 consists of 40 drivers pitted against one another for 188-laps of the 2.66 mi-mile track resulting in a 500.08 mile race.

Denny Hamlin enters the race starting in pole position and has 13-2 odds to win, according to CBS Sports. Hamlin is coming off a 2nd place finish in last week’s race at Richmond Raceway. This season has been very successful for him. In the past six races, Hamlin has finished top 5 with three of them being third-place finishes. This is his third time starting in pole position this season. Sunday he will look to bring home his first race win of the season in Talladega.

Another driver to watch is Joey Logano who starts in 2nd at Talladega. Logano is coming off a third-place finish at Richmond Raceway. In his 11 races this year he has eight top 10 finishes. He comes into the GEICO 500 as the second favorite to win with 10-1 odds, according to CBS Sports. He will be looking to improve on what he did last week and try to pick up his second race win of the year.
